#Don’t add links to too many tweets

Research has shown that tweets without links tend to get more engagement

Its tempting to add a link to every tweet but by limiting the number of links will add more value to the links that you do post

# Hashtags

Its well-recognised that tweets with hashtags tend to get more shares and engagement than those without By using the right hashtags you are more likely to be noticed. Be careful not to use too many else you will come across as spammy, 2 hashtags 3 tops

A cool tool is Hashtagify which lets you find hashtags and related ones easily. Combine them to get your tweet noticed

#Format Tweets right

Make sure you have composed your tweet in the right way. Start with the text include attribution with @mention if needed then the link and hash tags. Hashtag in the middle of the tweet don’t tend to perform as well as ones with hashtag at the end.

Mix things up to keep things fresh for example instead of using the article title you could use a relevant quote taken from the article, remember to attribute to the author. Another strategy could be to stat the tweet with a question that is answered in the article.

# Tweet Quotes

People love quotes. They give great value and they are often liked and shared. Twitter now enables you to add 116 characters when you re-tweet someone else’s tweet. Give your opinion and insight regarding the information don’t just repeat what has already been said.

The idea is to establish you as an authority in your niche. You are here to add value so people see you as a leader wanting to help others and not just here to make a quick buck.

#Tweet at the Best time

Tweeting anytime of the day or night can be very counter productive. Its important to know what time most of your audience will be online, otherwise you are wasting your “breath” Use “Twitter Analytics” to discover where the majority of your followers are.Click your photo icon in top right then select “Analytics” from drop-down box. Select the “Audience” tab then “Demographics” scroll down to country
